Are pse pumps interchangeable?

Are pse pumps interchangeable?
I have a 2002 s55 amg and I was wondering whether a pse pump from a 2003 s430 would fit and work on it as a replacement. Would that replacement work ? I sourced a pse pump from a friend for relatively free from a 70k mile s430, everything was working, and my cars starting to show symptoms of the pse pump having problems, would it work if I switched them out and programmed the newer one ?
