Replaced Dayco Gold S/C belt with Duralast

I went to AutoZone and bought a new supercharger belt for around $14. The belt that was on my car looked overly glazed and it didn't seem to fit well on the crank pulley. It was either one notch forward or backward. When I took it off I could see that some of the outer ribs we wearing down but the rest of the inner ribs seemed okay. However, the Duralast belt fit better on the crank pulley for whatever reason.

I do have an 88mm UDP supercharger pulley which I bought as a replacement for the stock pulley. The main reason is because I was replacing the bearing in the stock pulley which sounded a wee bit crunchy, and I stretched the springs out in my press. I've damaged more parts in that thing than I have repaired. Anyhow, I do have chirp when it engages, and I have also replaced the double idler pulley with a brand new Febi unit last week. I'm not complaining about the noise, my ABC pump is a remanufactured unit, and I have discovered on Benzworld a user who replaced his pump with a reman unit to discover it made more noise than the OEM unit as well.

Cheers

Yeah, if it wasn't for all the posts that have been already, I wouldn't have known.
