Emblem vs Star hood ornament
My new 07 S65 doesn't have the Mercedes-Benz star that sticks up, rather an emblem with the Star and words Mercedes Benz. I thought the S65 4 door sedans all came with the star sticking up, the coupe came with the emblem, is that not true? How do you know if it originally came with the emblem or the star sticking up?

As of 2021, the only US vehicles with an upright Star is the S-Class, sadly.
