ABC leaks when shut off
Powerwashed it clean. Let it set over the weekend. Ordered new filters and pentosin. Few days later puddle of oil on floor. Cleaned it up got wife in car raised it up had her run it. No lights came on no leaks or dripping. Put it back on the ground raised and lowered it many time put it back up no leaks?? Called it a night got up went to work came home raised it up. Prob a pint plus of oil on the floor again!! I noticed when I was running it and checking the fluid level there were bubbles on the dipstick. Leak on the suction side? Pressure sensor/valve? It appears to be dripping off the bottom of the a//c compressor which of course is right under the abc pump? So guessin it's something right around the pump?? Any ideas? Before I start disassembly? Thanks
I only have the dipstick cap and the return-line/filter cap on the top of my tank.
I once had a leak from the pressure test port at the left front wheel.
There was also a report (long ago in my foggy recall) that when an accumulator pops, the oil fills it, low fluid situation lights up the “check ABC” warning, owner puts more fluid in to top it off, doesn’t replace accumulator, drives it around, and then there is too much fluid in the Rez. Valve body leaks down when the vehicle is turned off, vehicle sinks, pushes excess fluid into the Rez which overflows. Not sure I can attest to that being logical, but it has been described that way.
I change the fluid and filters every 25k. See how long this one lasts
