ABC leaks when shut off

Ok history first. Started it up got the red dash light. Shut it down. Checked fluid leaks etc.. nuttin. Started it again same thing. Pushed it into my lift and took off front under panels looked around. Nothing much? Started it again this time reved it up once it started all good. Drove it about 5 miles. Smelled pentosin on the warm exhaust. Pulled over no noticeable leaks. Looked like it sprayed out the vent hole in tank. Checked oil level. Drove it home. No lights on.
Powerwashed it clean. Let it set over the weekend. Ordered new filters and pentosin. Few days later puddle of oil on floor. Cleaned it up got wife in car raised it up had her run it. No lights came on no leaks or dripping. Put it back on the ground raised and lowered it many time put it back up no leaks?? Called it a night got up went to work came home raised it up. Prob a pint plus of oil on the floor again!! I noticed when I was running it and checking the fluid level there were bubbles on the dipstick. Leak on the suction side? Pressure sensor/valve? It appears to be dripping off the bottom of the a//c compressor which of course is right under the abc pump? So guessin it's something right around the pump?? Any ideas? Before I start disassembly? Thanks

Vent hole?

What “vent hole in tank”?

I only have the dipstick cap and the return-line/filter cap on the top of my tank.

I once had a leak from the pressure test port at the left front wheel.

There was also a report (long ago in my foggy recall) that when an accumulator pops, the oil fills it, low fluid situation lights up the “check ABC” warning, owner puts more fluid in to top it off, doesn’t replace accumulator, drives it around, and then there is too much fluid in the Rez. Valve body leaks down when the vehicle is turned off, vehicle sinks, pushes excess fluid into the Rez which overflows. Not sure I can attest to that being logical, but it has been described that way.

Thanks for the reply. I thought there was a small vent hole in the dipstick top?? Or top of the tank? When it first happened I hadn’t added any fluid since I changed the pentosin and filters so I know it wasn’t overfilled. The more it sits the more it drips. But it doesn’t drip when running? Oil seems foamy when it runs like it’s sucking air? The only place I can see it dripping appears to be around the front of the pump. Hard to see but it’s dripping on the a/c comp under it. Anybody ever experience a front shaft seal leak??

Well bought a reman Lux pump. And installed. Other than the fun of getting it out everything is now good again. Had over 100k on the old pump. I did prime the pump by hand before installing by putting fluid in and turning it the correct rotation until fluid came out the exit port. Did both sides of the pump. Then after it was installed and intake lines hooked up but before I put the banjo bolt on tight and the belts on I again primed it by hand by spinning the pulley. Once I saw fluid dripping out the bolts I tighten em down, put in the new belts and tried it out. It caught prime right away...
I change the fluid and filters every 25k. See how long this one lasts
