Supercharged coupling blew up!!

Hello everyone, i am new to the threads. i have just purchased a 2003 s55 with 54k miles. i’ve put 2k miles on it in a month and it’s been a blast. today i noticed a weird sound u see the hood so i inspected the supercharged and found that the supercharged coupling had broken. it had thrown out the bearings. i’ve never owned a supercharged vehicle so i’m wondering if i just take off the old part and replace it with the new one. i’m only 18 so i have basic experience ( gaskets, brakes, spark plugs, cooling, etc). any help that y’all could offer would be appreciated. have a blessed day.

Yes, you can replace it or just the bearing that's inside of it if the there is not much damage to the housing.
Search and you'll find many threads here that will tell you how to do this.
It looks like you may saved it in time before the belt came flying of and caused a lot more damage.

Good luck

thank you for the help. for all those following the forum now i will update you on what i’ve decided. i bought the supercharged pulley coupling on fcpeuro for $1380. I am going to return it because i did some more research and found a smaller pulley from VRP performance for $1160 with the tune (adds about 50hp). also to whoever wants the stock bearing do not buy it from fcpeuro it is a total rip off. instead, watch this video and buy the parts he has kn the description
And for whoever wants the vrp pulley look up tavarish on youtube and look the playlist with his sl55. The link for the pulley and reduced size belt are in his description. thank you everyone
