Hi, I have a 120k miles 2009 S63. Serpentine belt snapped while driving, It takes out the hose of the thermostat. Today, I was on the process of replacing the thermostat as well as the belt. I found out that one of the Socket/connectors was not connecting to anything. The other end of the wire connected the engine. (Please check my photos). Is it supposed like that or the belt took out the other end? I can't find any broken wires hanging in front of the engine. Thank you for your help in advanced!!! Well, first of all, I think what you are calling a "wire" is a vacuum hose coming out of the intake manifold. On my car that vaccum hose connects to a cylindrical plastic piece.
