2006 S65 lighting flickering while charging battery
The car was parked in the garage for the winter.
I started it weekly, but I can tell the battery wasn't getting enough charge.
Just got back from a vacation & the battery is totally dead.
I popped the car charger directly onto the battery, set it to AGM/ trickle charge @ 2amps, for a few hours, went to check it & no lights came one anywhere in the car.
Is applying the charger directly to the battery terminals the correct way for these cars?
Out of curiosity, I switched it to engine start mode @ 50amps, then the lights started flickering/ power cycling.
I'm going to give it more time to trickle charge & check it in the morning.
Any suggestions for a failed component that might be causing a draw?

Update.
Charging the battery @ 2amps wasn’t doing the trick over night, so I just bought a new battery, to be sure.
They tested the old battery this weekend & said it was fine, just completely drained.
they gave me an additional $25 off my new battery price.
I still assume I have a draw somewhere, but they said to charge these class of batteries @ 6amps to 10amps.
hopefully this helps someone in the future.
