Part Number Help Needed - 2009 S63AMG Intelligent Battery Sensor
I need to replace the negative battery terminal on my 2009 W221 S63AMG. Unfortunately the tag that has the part number printed on my original cable has completely worn off and when I searched for the replacement part it looks nothing like the one on my car from the factory (mine has the battery sensor and the one I'm being told is needed by searches and my local dealership is absolutely NOT the correct one as it has no sensor at all). My car only has one main battery (plus the small auxiliary battery under the DS dash) - in the engine bay and does not have the trunk battery.
If any forum members have the same vehicle it would be very much appreciated if they could provide the part number of the unit on their vehicles as I'm completely out of options and the dealerships are of zero help at this point. Also, could a member please confirm how many wires are connected to their battery sensor. The WIS wiring diagram shows two but my vehicle only has one wire (white and blue, small gauge).
