California Central Coast Mechanic Recommendation
Went to an indy today for an oil change.
I specifically sought out this shop.
Supposedly they had a Star Certified Master Mechanic.
Got home. (1/2 hour; 20 miles)
Hydraulic leak, hydraulic fluid everywhere in engine bay.
They did the right thing and flat-bedded it back to their shop.
Of course, they are trying to absolve themselves of any blame.
NOW...they say the ABC system has been deleted.....and their mechanic thought it strange that there are now sway bars present.
Hey...master mechanic!
ABC suspensions don't have sway bars!
So....any recommendations for shops from Monterey to Santa Barbara and from Bakersfield to the Coast would be appreciated.
i HAD THE RESEROIR REPLACED IN MAY, by my usual indy (in another geographic area).
I trust that they would have said something about the ABC being replaced, they have serviced it for the last three years.
The alternative is to take it to the dealer in this town.
The service records that I have say that the ABC pump was replaced at 47,000 miles.
I bought it at 55,000
It now has 62,000
