'13 S63 Hydraulic Line/Pipe Leak
I recently bought the 13 S63 with 75k miles, fairly clean, with no issues, and had the inspection done. Even the shop guy was impressed with how clean it was. Lo and Behold, 2 weeks later, the hydraulic line started to leak and burst out the fluid. Luckily, it happened on the driveway while I was checking the settings/setting up Tune2Air.
It's been a few days and I'm unable to locate which exact part number of the line. The closest one I've come across is A 221 320 3272. However, the MBUSA and AutohausAZ sites, both, stated this part is not a fit for the '13 S 63 AMG. I'm believing the bottom end of the aforementioned part number is facing the wrong way and it might be for a different vehicle. AutohausAZ site stated this part number is for CL models, not S.
I'm attaching the engine bay pic and the part number picture and the part number that I found on eBay.

I tried to remove the line to pull it out and check, but I couldn't get the T screw at the bottom to open. The top two screws opened easily, but the bottom screw did not move even a bit. I tried the impact wrench with a T45 screw, it didn't move or slip. Tried for roughly 10 continuous seconds. Then I used a breaker bar and it slipped and that's when I stopped to avoid stripping the head. I thought I could remove it and take it to a local hydraulic shop to see if they can make one with the specs. My other option would be to tow it to a local shop to have it removed and fixed, but I'd rather find the right part first and then take it to the shop. I've had a few local shops keep ordering the wrong parts and keep the car at the shop for weeks.
If anyone has any other information, pls let me know. Much appreciated. Thank you.
That was my plan to remove it and have a hydraulic shop replace it. So I ended up purchasing a used one from eBay for $150 after confirming the part number with the dealer. So it will arrive coming Monday and will tow it to my friend's shop local and I'll let him mess with the T screw at the bottom.
Do these hydraulic hoses go bad at a certain time or a common issue?
