2008 S63 brakes and rotors swap
Getting ready to swap front/rear rotors and brakes on a 2008 s63 AMG in the near future. Looking for reliable recommendations that cost under 3K for the brakes and rotors. Car has 71K miles and gets driven like a race car. I'm still not sure if OEM parts are iron or ceramic, getting my research in before making a purchase any help is appreciated.

I have seen a couple of aftermarket options but, I haven’t learned enough about it yet to send it though. Surprisingly Autozone offers front rotors (duralast) for 500 a piece. Not sure how I feel about it yet just because I don’t know much about it. Could do those with some EBC red pads? I don’t know.. I have time to figure it out.

Update, I ended up picking up some original equipment rotors through partsgeek for 600$ a piece and some EBC red pads. Will give an update after putting a few thousand miles on them.

so far so good, shortly after install I had some brake shudder during slower speeds but I haven’t really had any issues with it and they seem to be working well. Way less dusty than the original pads and brakes 10 times better than before the swap.
