Serpentine belt DIY
Hello there I looked everywhere for DIY right up on how to replace drive belt, 2011 S63 AMG (M157 engine) , if someone can lead me to a DIY would be greatly appreciated, I got the diagram and the part with the tensioner pulley, I just dunno if it's possible to remove it without removing other stuff or needs to be removed , it's very tight in there. thanks

You can swap belt iwithout removing too much. Just the two air intakes tubes for some wiggle room. Also consider removing splash pan to get at from below.
Swap the supercharger belt too while you are there.
You can buy a skinny socket handle that fits behind the fan but they usually have the square 1/2” or 3/8” attachment. Then you need stubby socket to get onto the tensioner.
However, I don’t know if you have enough room to remove the tensioner without also moving the fan. I haven’t done that yet.

thank you, I don't think my car has a supercharger belt, it's M157 twin turbo, please correct me if I'm wrong cause I've been ion there didn't see any other belts, I have practically practiced releasing the tensioner and pinning it, waiting for the part, it's just so tight in there, friday the part will be here.
