W220 Command: No sound - random unplugged wires in trunk?

command powers up, scrolls through all the settings and displays fine but I’m getting no sound from the speakers.
I unplugged every fuse in the car that I know of, A. To check them all and B. To try and reset the amp/radio.
Fuse panels I know of are right and left side of engine, inside pass. Side door jam, and under rear passenger seat. Specifically pulled fuse 15 & 17 which are labeled 7.5 amp for antenna amplifier and a 25amp for sound amplifier. Let it sit for 15 minutes, popped them back in and nothing still.
disassembled rear trunk and found 3 sets of wires not connected. Removed the amp, cd changer, etc and this is where I’m stumped. They do not look like they plug into any of the back of the units. Also, on the back of the black Amp is another box which is missing a large plug.
does anyone have any idea where these plugs go, and where the large missing plug may be located? It definitely looks like someone has been back here before, so there’s no telling what they may have done. On another note, it does not look like anything was cut or spliced back here. Everything that I can see looks to be factory.
any advice is much appreciated!
Joe

Tricky thing, although COMAND looks the same from '03-'06, they are actually different units.
At this point, replacing the whole system is probably the better way to go. See this guy... https://shop.enfigcarstereo.com. @8899 replaced his whole system prior to selling the car and was happy. I'm considering doing something similar with mine. I'm not into waiting for the ancient stuff to fail unit by unit (first the AGW, then the Nav drive, then the head unit, then the CD changer -- no thanks).

I just ordered an inexpensive stock Bose Amp from Ebay, if i can't figure it out its going up to Becker next week.
I'll be sure to report back the root of the issue and how it was resolved.

It was the Amplifier.
I bought a used unit in very good condition from Ebay, just installed and it fixed the issue. I now have sound coming from the speakers.
Rock on!
