S55 AMG License plate bulbs flickering/not turning on
So the left bulb flickers and the right does not come on. I put in new bulbs and tried electric cleaner and it doesn’t stay on for the left and right still doesn’t come on. Not sure what the problem is. Was thinking of trying to throughly clean the connectors with a tip.

Let’s hope it’s not your rear SAM. Any other lights not working? You might try disconnecting the negative terminal for an hour. Reconnect on the :00 or :30 to help the COMAND clocks synchronize. That’ll reset electronics in the whole vehicle. You might also try LED bulbs which require less power.
Disclaimer: I’ve not had these problems but I know from experience with other bulbs the SAM can be the culprit. Let’s hope a simple reset is all it needs.
