See ya...this blows
Well - unfortunately Hurricane Helene had other plans for my life as a 2004 S55 AMG owner.....I moved her to "high ground" - unfortuantely it wasnt high enough. So with all the water we had (I live in Dunedin, FL) not only did it devastate our house and belongings...but my beloved MBZ.
My mechanic has a C63AMG that he would sell me....so who knows. Once everything is processed I will be back....not on this area though!
Thanks so much for all the help/advice/support....take care everyone.

Thats terrible, sorry to hear but at least you and your family are OK. Hang in there, theres always another AMG around the corner. Collect what you can from Insurance and find your way into something nice.
Best of luck

Damn that sucks! Sorry to hear about the house & personal belongings too. No words can make it any better but good luck to you and be safe.

Sorry dude. Total bummer. I have nightmares about such things. Hope all your people were/are safe.
If the car is all you had to worry about, it might make for a good salvage…Hopefully no ingress into the engine block or trans. if you had a spare dry garage to air it out and disassemble all the wet stuff. But there’s only so much one can take on in this life.
