Sounds about right
The heavier S600 did the following for Cra nad Driver
S600 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, to 100 in 9.7, and through the quarter in 12.5 at 115 mph
The S600 has a bit more torque 590 as opposed to 516 in the S55 ( both have 493bhp) the extra weight should make the cars pretty close

On a hot and humid day in florida I got a 4.52 run to 60 and a 13 sec run in the qtr. However I was not doing everything I could to get a better run and quite after one try. I would think it unlikely that you could do a 12.5 Qtr with the S55. MY 04 Sl600 does the Qtr in 12.5 on a hot humid day in Florida.
BTW, my S55 is a 03 model.
