S63 AMG - Suspension Problems
Hey everyone,
The rear left hydraulic strut appears to be stuck. It doesn’t want to go up or down. It’s stuck on the normal sitting position. All other three corners go up and down just fine.
I even hooked it up to a fancy scanner which makes the car bounce and everything. It was working just fine and all of a sudden that corner started to fill very stiff while driving.
I don’t see any oil leaks on the strut or anything out of the ordinary…
Do you guys think I need a new strut or maybe a valve somewhere is stuck?

Xentry diagnosis will allow you to check every electrical component and pressure in the system. If your scanner has that capability, you can activate pumps, valves, pressure sensors, internal valving in the shocks and whatever else you need. If you’re able to find a diagram of the ABC hydraulic system flow for your car, it will help you logically diagnose what the problem could be.

Any specific model you suggest for this specifically? I'm very new as it comes to scan tools however i would like something that has a wide range of features that i can plug in and scan the entire vehicle. I'm running into a similar issue where the front end on my 220 is sitting lower then before, after i replaced everything in the front suspension, minus the ABC shocks themselves. I'd like to buy a scanner and monitor/see whats going on and make sure all of the sensors are performing as they should.
