Keep a note as to the orientation of the longer and shorter wires, as i believe from the factory some of the coil packs have (2) short wires, and some have a mixture of long and short together. I'm not 100% sure but i just eyeballed it and i think i still have some mixed up. Particularly towards the front where it seems i should have longer wires for some of the plugs. Who the hell knows. Replace the wires and make sure you seat them all really well, one by one.

So all the wires are in the right positions. I switched the one that I confused the right spot. All the wires are seated properly. It's definitely some kind of missing situation even though it's not throwing any codes. I wonder if one of these Bosch coils is no good. I will be swapping out all the wires this week with wires that I know are performing perfectly, so that's going to be a big tell right there. As far as the wires go, I am questioning if one of these brand new Bosch coils I got is no good One of the harnesses for a coil pack had insulation on the wire coming off so I removed it and replaced it with a new harness. Buck connected and a heat shrunk into place. Hoping that was the culprit but there was no change. I do have a constant pulley noise that does not fluctuate with RPM. I wonder if that could be playing into it. It's coming from the same area as the AC pump. It does not fluctuate at all and it comes and goes especially noticeable upon cold start

I'm going to pull the super charger belt today and see if that affects that misfire feeling during issle and low RPMs and that rattling chain noise towards the rear of the engine on cylinder 7 . I don't see a chain there and wonder if it's coming from the super charger 🤔 I haven't been able to find a diagram of what's going on inside that supercharger yet parts wise I did change to lucas super charger oil that's rated for that application but am thinking about going to mobil jet 2 . That rattling chain sound is in close proximity to the noisy lifter I wonder if that's possible a rocker arm that's bad and that noise is just manifesting in a confusable way 🤔 I wish I could figure out how to upload the video I have I'm sure somone would know within a split second what it is 😤

Yes, I understand that. The problem is it tells me the format of the video I'm trying to upload from my device is incompatible I could be missing something but that's what happens when I follow that process

Well it's not the coils and wires. I swapped those out today. It is idling a little stronger but that misfiring feeling is still present. I'm going to smoke test it but I wonder if it's a fuel injector which would be possible. They are the stock injectors at $25,000, mi on a 25-year-old car

ran a smooth engine test at idle and noticed cylinder 4 kept bumping up into the 5.xx range . this was the only cylinder behaving this way . from what ive read 7-10 is a misfire . ive yet to get the smoke tester from a friend to see if its a leak however the rubber grommet in the rear of the supercharge did fall out when I was installing there valve cover gaskets . I did find it and reinstall it but I wonder if the grommet could be the issue ? any thoughts or experience with this specific vacuum line / grommet being an issue ?
