S63 Coupe (2015) vs E63 (2017)
I'm debating whether I should go with E63S 2017 4matic+ or S63 2015 4matic. Their prices are somewhat on the same par (~$140k in EU).
S class will be more used though, (20k miles) while E63s wil be around 2000 miles.
Which route would you go? I've previously owned C63s and looking to step up the game

Also, what do you think about their depreciation in 1 year compared with each other?
Thanks
Difficult choice and of course very subjective / personal
The new E63 of course has the advantage of the new 4Matic+ and the new driving assistance possibilities. Also it has the 4.0 V8, question is whether you prefer this over the 5,5 V8 in the S63 (there is no substitute for cubic inches :-)), but it is probsbly more responsive.
Build quality of the S63 is on a much higher level than the E63 (which is already very good). The S63 Coupe/Convertible final assembly is done mostly by hand (in contrast to the S sedan, E class, etc), very impressive to see this in real life!
Deprecation of the older S63 would of course be less than of the rather new E63.
Maybe better test drive both and go for it!

New E is a huge improvement over the previous one and will also run circles (performance wise) around the 2015 S Coupe.
Handling and performance always beat comfort and luxury, IMO (to a point, need some of that too and Caterham would not do), on my previous daily could get a loaded S550 for the same $ but chose the E63S.
All the new tech on the E class is very appealing, the new E interior is pretty close to the quality of an S, and coming from an E class it would be a good replacement.
Its been over 20yrs since I last bought a used car and personally I dont like the idea of buying a used car. As much as I want an AMG and the fancy new tech in the E class, I wanted the S coupe more so I bought a left over 2016 S550 coupe.
The depreciation on the used S63 will be less than a New E63 because the heaviest depreciation tends to happen in the first year. But long term I think that both vehicles depreciation should be pretty close. Its a hard decision. Honestly though I think you will be happy if you get either one.
