Its NOT what I ordered

Just saw this thread and wanted to comment on the situation and to ask how it ended up being resolved. When I was in similar I had to deal with what Mercedes was giving because I needed the car, but Range Rover this year went over and beyond when the car came with the wrong spec. I was given another new discovery to drive until my ab came, it was almost as if the incident didn't happen, and for that reason alone I'll stay with the dealership in the future

In my case the dealer did state that I don't have to buy the car if I don't want to. Mine was a 2019-S65 Coupe and was ordered 4 days before Mercedes closed the ordering books on the V12s forever. I only became aware of the final build several months later. At that point, there was no way to order another S65 coupe (they stopped making them) so I had to decide whether the discrepancies were significant enough for me to cancel my order or do I want the car enough where I can live without the missing features. I chose to buy the car as is. The dealer did give me an extra discount, even though it was not their fault. In my case, the dealer handled it very well.
