Hi guys
can you still order a new one in USA ?
trying to do so in Switzerland, it seems no new order are taken. Next aloocation lot June 2020
The new limo is coming next year, so I can understand they are not taking new orders but for the Coupe, as it seems it will not be replaced, I thought we could still order one.

Almost the same story here, next allocation is far and nothing that can be modified yet!

I placed the order for mine back in early October. There were very few 2020 allocations available then, and even fewer with the U88 Drive Unit buttons (which could not be added to any car that didn't already have it, and it was something I wanted as it sets the 2020 apart from 2018-2019). Even my dealer, a large and high volume one, had to trade an allocation with another dealer in Cali to get me one.
Mercedes does not publish figures, but I think the production numbers for these vehicles are quite low. That said there are a few 2020 S63 Coupes sitting in dealer inventory around the country; at least half of the allocations I saw in the ordering system were pre-sold. It's uncertain how long the C217 will remain in production, so if you want one it's a good time to get one either new or pre-owned, there are good deals on 2018-2019 out there and 2015-2017 are quite cheap). The cabriolet may stop production before the coupe since it would be unwise to produce it along side the new SL 2+2; there is no direct replacement for the C217 four seater, luxury pillar-less coupe in the pipeline as far as anyone knows, and only the Bentley Continental GT and Rolls Royce Wraith really compete with it. And I prefer the more sporty balance of the S63, the Bentley & Rolls are definitely balanced more towards luxury.

Next question, partially answered is related to the model.
Here we can get a slot for June 2020 production, but will this be the current model/design or a new model or facelift.
hard to get visibility, even dealers are in the dark.

I heard from over the weekend that it will be the last year for C217 and they will discontinue that model, not sure how accurate this info is!
