Hey guys, was able to find some other threads on this subject, but they were a little dated.
Are there really no aftermarket companies that make a Panamericana Grille for the prefacelift S63 Coupe? I have a client looking for one without having to do the full facelift. Lots of searching with no luck, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

This is just my point of view, but that doesn't seem right. It's he same as painting your default steel brake calipers in CCB copper to make them look like CCBs... Or making non-AMGs appear to look like AMGs with external looks (that MB sells) that aren't backed by anything AMG... Doesn't seem right to upgrade the grill to imitate the face lift. but to each her/his own, and that is clearly an individual choice. Just my 2 cents.

i think changing the grill is aesthetic as changing to different wheels. If i could find one i would do it. you can always change it back if you want to sell it.

I really dont understand them. They have a picture of a pano grill on a - 2015 s550 with a standard usa bumper. Looks like exactly the one we would need. But I asked questions, and they replied we dont have shipments to usa. so who knows the story but doesnt look like they sell them

I understand but what really is the difference between a 2015 and 2019 AMG S63.
I agree I like the newer facelift more on the GT-S than the S63.

Mercteil can also supply the kit to do the Oled tail light conversion. I’m kind of keen on both of these as I doubt I’ll be able to afford a face lift model anytime soon given that I just recently bought my S63...

There are many for sale on Aliexpress. Just search S63 Coupe grill. Sounds like they need some adjusting to get them to fit but for the price compared to original you can’t go wrong.

I actually have three different grilles in my cart on Ali lol, but do you know if this would fit with night vision? Also, the titles are pretty vague. States will fit everything from a 2015 s500 to a 2019 s63 coupe. I’ve been seeing for this grille for years and all until now that was available was the full facelift unless you were 2018+ so how is it that this grille fits basically all Coupe models from 2015-2019?

1. I never owned or drove a 2015 so I don't know. The difference between the 2017 and 2020 is huge. Too long to list, but print out the OEM and options, and look at them side by side. You will ought to see the many differences.
2. The disliked the AMG GT 63 S 4-door Coupe. It feels cheapish, full of plastic, and after in seating in it for 15 min, I didn't even want to take it for a test drive.
3. Calling a 4 door car a coupe is just silly. And, I hated the oversized and duplicated front center console, but that too is a point of view.
4. I am exactly the case of what you see is what you get. I have no reason to wish to pretend to be someone else. And... I despise posers of any kind.
5. Having 3 AMGs - 2 coupes and an SUV let's me put the pre and post refresh S63 coupes next to each other - I personally (as stated one time too many) prefer the 2020 in every possible way.
6. Having two ECU tunes, the 2017 runs at lower RPM and it is easier to get more HP for it than from the 2017. Both my coupes have nearly 800 HP. The 9 speed transmission is far smoother, lots of new options to play with, the ability to self drive is much approved. It's also nice to be able to download new maps, and other updates, have remote diagnostics, so on. I love the carbon fiber and aerodynamic packages on the 2020.
7. The SUV is better than both coupes when it comes to driving in deeper snow, or taking our four furry kids for long rides as they have lots more space in the back (with folded seats) for generating mischief and having fun.
+1 to Dan's points. I've looked at Mercedes for years and every time would walk away with M instead. Until it was a time to replace F10 M5 that was reasonably useless as a high power daily driver in Seattle wet weather. I looked by accident at 17 coupe and really liked it. Then I test drove 19 and there was no coming back. So, 15 vs 19 is very measurable once you drive both.
@Dan B - would love to learn more about 20 tune and the real life difference compared to stock.

risky for my too. from china, once you get it, thats the end. The 15, 16 can have standard front bumper, or amg style option, so theres 2 front bumpers that it has to fit. They dont address that. Does both grills have the same dimensions? unless you know, they are just saying it fits a 15,16.
Youre on your own. and the night camera has a funky slanted door. I dont like it, and the stock grille doesnt look like that.

Unless you want to buy a new grill you could try one from Aliexpress. Most sellers state that thiers is NOT for the s63 AMG (S500 only) but this seller says this one will fit the s63 AMG. It’s cheap enough that I think I’ll try it.
Any update? Did you purchase the bumper and install? Good find okbarnettthe guy even offers selling it to you through his website that way you know 100% it fits.

The nite vision door is what I dont like about these grills. But I had a hunch about this for a while.. You can put the cover oer it ant it still works. So you can leave the cover over it all the time
