S65c - Popping feel when turning (mostly to the left)
Usually when I am pulling out of my parking spot, low speed to the left, I can feel a pop in the steering. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Car has 53k miles.

It could be if you live in a cold state and are still on the summer tires they skip and causes a popping noise. They are not meant for cold weather.

It is a CPO with 50k miles. The dealership replaced the rack and pinion. That fixed one of the bigger pops I would feel when turning it off a parking spot, but there are still small pops when making turns going around 5-10 mph. They happen infrequently when driving. No brakes applied, just rolling under engine power.

Thanks HAWKiS63, do you feel popping or is it a noise? I only feel a pop in the steering wheel, I do not hear anything. The car has Michelin Super Sport "NO" (whatever that means) on the front and Conti's in the back.

That is a good question. Someone previous to me decided to do that, it is a Certified Pre-Owned, either the dealership or the previous owner . The dealership did change the front tires during the CPO process, my guess is they went with the cheapest option they had.

The first time it felt like my tires are going to fell of the wheel.....apparantly nothing wrong. It was on my MY17 S63 with OEM tires (PS3). Later with the PS4S no more popping. And on my new MY19 car, I started with the PS4S from the start.
