Winter weather impeding launch
If temps are below 45 degrees you won’t get optimal traction with summer tires. Even lower temps than that can ruin them. Dry or wet, where wet is worse.
If it bothers you and you have real winter conditions I would suggest my favorite winter tires—the Michelin Alpine PA4.
For summer nothing beats the Michelin S 4S.

Same tires. Dropped .3 seconds since last run in November. Temperature only dropped 20 degrees, but the roads were wet from morning dew.
Last time tires hooked up all but once. Today they broke loose each time.
