Strange sound from the center console area?
There is a strange sound coming from the center dash area every morning about 10 minutes into a drive. It sounds like some plastic door closing on a small compartment. Happens every time. Any ideas what would that be?

could be your HVAC/climate control system, there are doors that open and close to blend air, try changing your temp settings and sync both sides and see if it stops/lessens.

Sounds bounces in the cabin, and hard to isolate. RJC makes a good point given our current temperatures and the coupe being new. Sorry, I don’t have any other ides, but if it continues, I highly recommend visiting my friend Garrett Graham at MB Lynnwood. Tell him I asked him to look at it.
Do not take it to the Bellevue dealer. I will tell you 1:1 why MBUSA had to fly their experts to investigate a service problem and sent me to Lynnwood who fixed it in 48 hours, followed by a happy inspection by the MBUSA experts. Never gave me any problems since.
