S65 Renntech ECU
I want my s65 to be more responsive. I am not looking for more power but I want to change the way power is delivered. I think currently the car is very lazy especially in comfort mode, a little better in sport mode. I actually only drive is sport mode because it also turns off auto start/stop. But even in sport mode you have to very aggressive with gas paddle to feel responsive. Has anyone tried the Renntech ECU upgrade? Is it worth the cost? Does it change the characteristics of acceleration ? Thanks in advance.

I had SL65 and Renntech ECU made a very significant, felt by the butt, improvement in throttle response and acceleration.
I had to spend additional $$$ for LSD to improve the traction at take off as otherwise it would be a hopeless wheel spinning or dead in place with TC killing it completely.
Btw, ECU cost is virtually irrelevant in relation to the car cost itself and improvement makes it a very good value.

You could try PedalBox to improve the throttle response, its a plug-in at the OBDII with an app. It removes the lag between pressing the pedal and the engine responding to it.
I changed mine by internally coding the ME module.
