Animated OLED tail lights - how?
Locking, unlocking or starting the car does not produce any animation on my S63c.
Working in US with some magic trick or simply disabled?
Hope you are well and healthy and loving your coupe.
Still puzzled on what even to look at as a next car.
Have your tail lights ever operated in the described manner -
Trying to remember - I don't think they were working when
your Coupe was in the shop for ppf or when you brought it
back for to have Shardul's air filters installed -
It might be a coding issue that got knocked out when you had
an update -
Ask your SA when you are in the dealers neighborhood -
If it just needs to be (re)coded they may do it right then -
Thank-You

yes, it does have animation both on remote open and close. Opening has one sequence and closing the opposite.
it looks pretty neat. The strange thing is that I didn’t notice it until I tested it for you.
I would take the coupe to MB Lynnwood and ask for Garrett or Josh. Send them my regards and ask them to help fix it. You’re never going to go to any other dealership.
take care, stay safe, and have fun,
Dan
I can hardly wait to see it myself...

This project was the brain child of @COOPERDB and executed with DB to perfection by Ben, Rudy, and Brandon. It’s such a huge improvement over the OEM that it took me a while to take it in. These folks are the Best! Paying attention to details and delivering results that are beyond real. I walked around the Bach with DB and everything was perfect. So many great ideas designed and implemented. The thoughtfulness ranged from protection against vandalism from kids which took us a few minutes to appreciate and then go all in to the tinting that protected our eyes from glare of trucks with high beams on.
I was excited when we started the project. When we saw it in real life we were blown away, kept finding small details that when combined made art. My wife is an artist. She’s a tough critic. She said it was so much more beautiful that she thought it was a different car. So did I and I don’t have DBs or my wife’s eye for beauty. Seeing it was pure pleasure and it is 4;00 AM and I already checked it out again. It’s incredible.
We asked DB for his help and he accepted the challenge of doing anything he wanted. We didn’t know what we would come in to see. I’ll just say that this project and it’s outcome made me happy to no end, and I will especially love this Bach with these memories until I drop dead. It’s one of those one in a million days that leaves a signature on your soul.
To DB, Big Ben, Awesome Rudy, and talented Brandon—thank you from our heart and soul—you wiped memories of a rough health year and replaced it with happiness. Such things just don’t happen without outstanding people putting their talent and soul into a hard project. Thank you so much for all the wonderful hard work and for a far far better Bach than Mercedes designed. It now looks, drives, and feels the way it ought to have been built had the bean counters not invaded MB under the new CEO. Well, now you have a way to make a great ride into a dream ride. I will cherish this project and think of this day every time I look at the very Special Bach!
No matter what you get, you have to have this wonderful team make it better. I looked at so many photos when the project was going and I did not recognize the finished work of art. These are quite rare and if this helps augment your coupe with a floating beast, visit Stefan’s outstanding dealership at Mercedes of Lynnwood, the best dealership and people I have worked with, order one and ask people to make you a one of a kind ride. Whatever your expectations, they will be exceeded in every manner. So first Stefan’s dealership (ask for Jonathan at Mercedes of Lynnwood) who’s awesome help with Stefan and his team’s assistance got us the exact configuration we wanted and couldn’t find anywhere in the US.
For the memories and inspiration to be better at my job and life, I will have a picture frame for my new office. In a central spot near a fireplace to remind me to work harder, smarter, and with more passion and with more attention to details. Yes, it is that inspiring. Thank you guys—YOU ARE THE VERY BEST AND FAR BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL AT YOUR CHOICE OF PROFESSIONAL ART!!! We all strive to do our best in our jobs and produce exceptional results. These guys do it and succeed. They do the impossible.Thank you!
The best picture isn’t posted here. It is too important for me to share. It will be the one hanging in my new home office. I want to see it every day and recall this feeling and everything around it. It will act as both an motivational and inspirational reminder that I can always do better. To strive and be better at my chosen profession and life. Just like this team did. It’s good to aim higher and further. Brings the best within us out.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
DB and the team, great job! I am considering a G wagon as a bad weather car, will see if I can convince myself on it. The challenge is in a daily driver for 80% of driving time and with usable back seats, that is what coupe is for me now. On the original topic - complete operator failure, waiting through the exit light 30 seconds delay had gotten me to the animation point.

Great troubleshooting on the delay as root cause. Then again, you’re a great engineer, but still cool.
The G wagon is used by German SF, but if you need a people carrier, since this is not designed for high speed and tight turns, maybe the GLS63 or GLS 580. Both are available for seeing and testing at MB Lynnwood. They clearly also have the G Wagon. It’s a family business that only hires the best, and it is run by Stefan whom I truly respect and trust 100%. You have to meet those folks. You will have the peace of mind knowing the best service people will handle you car with care and attention to details. It’s the best place to buy a Mercedes-AMG or any other Mercedes. 100% honest and trustworthy people are rare. These folks are rarer still. They are the best. Dot.
stay safe and healthy,
Dan

IGOR -
I was going to install an AMG heel protector on the
drivers side floormat in front of the pedals in the Bach -
The same as Dan has in his Coupes -
However the Bach has special pedals that would not
match the heel protector so it was not installed -
If you would like it for your Coupe swing by EAS and
Ben will install it for you -
Nice touch that protects your floormat -
Thank-You

Glad you like the AMG heel protector -
As you can see it is not only functional but
also provides a tasteful look of sport -
Just bringing your Coupe to the shop
was payment enough -
We love the C217 Coupe and you are a great guy
so just consider it a bonus -
Enjoy the drive -
Thank-You

A few years back I picked up 10 of these
AMG heel protectors from a high end
performance specialty shop which has
since gone out of business -
I give them to special AMG owners free
of charge and have Ben install it -
So far every owner who has received one
has been very happy with the upgrade -
Not sure where you are located and I don't recall
the shop having worked on your Coupe -
If the shop had worked on your Coupe you
would remember as the shop leaves an extremely
positive memory on every owner -
Thank-You

A couple more pictures of the Bach -
With the end of winter in sight the Brabus wheels
for winter use will be coming off and replaced
with HRE P104's 22" / polished / clear that are
concave with custom offsets -

Excellent choice -
I am always amazed when someone buys a Chevy truck -
I know someone who recently bought a new Chevy 4X4
and has had nothing but problems with the rear diff -
The dealer finally had to replace it and it still may not be
right - no peace of mind when driving it -
If there is anything we can help you with just ask -
Enjoy - I do
Thank-You

Not sure what decals / graphics the truck currently has
but my recommendation would be to have Ben remove
any and all to give the truck a much cleaner look -
Unless you are receiving a monthly stipend from Ford
for Promotional services -
Then Ben can wrap the areas in question -
Since the truck is banished from the garage I would
ask Rudy about also tinting the windshield to reduce
heat as well as UV rays which damage your dash
and interior -
I would also look at replacing your air filter(s) -

Looking forward to seeing it -
Thank-You D.B.
