Turbo Back (Bridge) Downpipes S63 C217 - almost done/major mod
Hi guys,
just wanted to share a couple of photos of turbo back (bridge) downpipes mod. Since I already have renntech stage 2 ecu tune (699bhp/1050nm) and full exhaust with 200 cel catted downpipes, I decided to go one step higher and change stock bridge downpipes with larger ones from HMS Performance (German based tuner). Originally wanted Weistec turbo backs, but decided to go for HMS as they don’t require different engine mounts.
After reading my posts about this mod on M157 engines (E/CLS63) I decided that it’s worth the hassle.
The car is still in the workshop, but I wanted to share a couple of photos with you of the process. For this mod both engine and transmission have to be dropped.
With renntech stage 2 ecu tune, full exhaust/downpipes + bridges - I am hoping to be in the territory of about 750 bhp.
