Offroad downpipe, X pipe, 200 cell downpipes with intermediate H or X?

Offroad downpipe, X pipe, 200 cell downpipes with intermediate H or X?
I want to do a mild tune and mild exhaust. I was thinking tune and offroad down pipes (maybe a cross over here on the downpipes if there is adequate spacing). Reason is I can put it back to stock real quick.
Then I was thinking stock downpipe and put an x or h pipe at the resonators but I really want to avoid cutting up the exhaust system.
I guess my main question is would I get more than one NOT READY lights on the county emissions test and maybe I could use a specific bung/reducer to trick the system into thinking it has a cat temporarily (as I limp it to the inspection station on stock tune).
Any feedback from anyone that has done this. Little more sound would be nice and nicer if it had a little more power.
