With 3G scheduled to sunset for Mercedes (Verizon) in the US in December, are there any rumors of Mercedes possible upgrades to keep the service going for affected vehicles or do you think they will just abandon the program come December, as seems currently planned?
I can live without it but I do like several of the program features like "locate vehicle", "valet protect" and "lock and unlock". Also, does anybody know if will I be losing my "traffic" display?
I have asked at the dealership but nobody seems to know anything other than it is going away.
