S63 coupe clicking sound when driving and turning wheels
Hello guys I have an S63 coupe which has been making these clicking sounds when turning. It doesn’t matter if it’s a U turn, left turn or right the clicking sound is there. I took it to the dealership and they thought it was the Axle so they replaced it and quickly realized that didn’t do anything. The clicking was still there! Now they are telling me to leave it so they can figure it out. They don’t even know where it’s coming from. This is frustrating to say the least. Has anyone dealt with something like this that was not easy to figure out what it was but ended up resolving this issue? If so I would appreciate it maybe to give them a heads up on what it might or could be. Thank you

2016 S63 AMG
This may be totally different but I had a "similar" sound when turning and my dealer diagnosed it in a second. The tires and pavement were cold resulting in the noise coming from the tires. Sure enough, with warm tires and warm pavement no more noise.

I had exactly the same. It was coming from the wheels and the reason was they used some lubricant for the center wheel holes that was causing it. An expert told me that it has to be dry on AMGs. Removed all the lubricant and it is quiet as heaven now. Before this every u turn sounded like I have something broken...

Clicking sound
After I took it to another Mercedes dealership they found out that the Mercedes dealership I bought my car from Fresno Mercedes put the brake pads on backwards. Yes backwards!!!! So when I was turning they were popping out and coming in contact with the brackets. Never go to Fresno Ca, Mercedes….worst ever dealership ever and full of a bunch of liars. Walnut Creek Mercedes put them in the right way and the clicking has been gone since.
