Can anyone provide insights to annual cost for maintenance & repairs. I know this is highly dependable on the individual examples, but any major issues or expensive repairs/parts through your ownership?

Probably no different than the average S-class with the added cost of periodic (every 4-5 years) pentosene change for the magic ride control suspension and extra cost of replacing 4 additional spark plugs every 50000-60000 miles and extra cost of carbon ceramic brake pad and rotor replacement although the carbon ceramics tend to last a lot longer.

The brake rotors are a bit expensive ($5k for the non-ceramic parts, probably around $15k for the ceramics) but other than that I don’t think there’s anything particularly outrageous.

And you’ll eat tires. A lot.
