LOL, donations, that's funny.

But honestly, my choice would be different from yours, and after having many sets of HRE's and colors too, I'd probably go with one of these.
I'm current rotating between the 301M and another set

When I first saw your post I wondered if you were changing plugs in a fleet of cars, then realized...2 plugs per cylinder for your V12 means 24 spark plugs...WOW!!!!

How was the install? Pretty straight forward? Swap the rotors and calipers, new dust shields and use the existing or new hoses? Then just bleed them and all good to go?

Also do you feel the investment was worth it? I love the idea of CCB but have no real complaint about the stock set up. Already swapped pads so dust is no longer a problem.

The install was pretty straight forward. The backing plates actually were not needed, they are no bigger than the original ones and required different hardware. The calipers came w the hoses still attached and they screwed right into the metal lines. Bleed procedure was done with a vacuum tool and was easy/normal.
Some take aways:
-The rear calipers are the exact same as the other ones just painted a different color. Brackets same too.
-Rear rotors are Carbon but they are the same size as the original
-Front rotors are about 1-1.5" larger in diameter
-Front calipers are larger and look so goooooood!
-Found front brake sensor harness (not the sensor) is not the same. Had to order from Germany again...
-Brakes feel much stronger when leaning into them harder.
-Pedel is a little stiffer than before but feels good.
-THEY LOOK AMAZING!!!! AND 100% WORTH IT!!

So you're saying the front rotors are carbon ceramic, and have a different caliper, and the rears are steel rotors with the same caliper, but painted gold, right?

If so, the ironic part is, that's the exact same with the W205 C63. Ceramics up front, and steels with gold caliper in the rear.

The E63, however, has carbon ceramics all around. So an upgrade on the W205 C63 that already has ceramics (fronts only) is to upgrade the rears to the E63 rear carbon rotors & calipers.

Wonder if those would also fit the S63...esp since manufacturers typically develop one product and make it fit multiple applications/models...

The rear rotors are 100% carbon fiber. The rear pads are the same size and a different part number the rear calipers appear to be exactly the same but a different color.

Ah you were referring to the pads and calipers. Gotcha. That makes more sense. Cuz a heavy car like the S63/S65 would def benefit from CCBs on all 4 corners..
