Does S63 amg still have stall and transmission problems
I am looking for a new S63 amg seden. After I checked a couple threads, I found quite a few owners reported the engine stall issues or the jerk transmission under low speed. I wonder are those two issues solved on 2016 model or not? Does anybody have an insight? I really love the s63 model but it seems pretty unreliable compared with S550.

Low speed jerk, no, mine doesn't do it nearly as much as others report, really a consequence of the torque and transmission

I have had mine since Oct 15'....
Having so many issues, I'm threatening lemon law
(60+days in the service, for jerking Trans & stall... Although they say there's a fix for stall...)
I'm over it... Negotiating as we speak.. Lol...

My s63 has suffered from the same issues for a couple years. After many visits where the dealer had the car sometimes for over a week “testing” they always defalted to resetting the codes to factory settings. Finally on this last visit I got someone to take it seriously and they found antifreeze in the transmission
, now they are replacing the transmission and radiator. They say they never tested it before because they never see this type of issue. I have a feeling it’s a bigger problem than they want to admit. Hope this is the fix.
