Low RPM hesitation and engine shut down after few sec after startup
hi,
it is my first time on MBWORLD
I've just bought a new S63 AMG 16'
immediately after riding the car for the first time i noticed some engine hesitations in low RPM's (1000-1700).
specially when only pressing around 5-10% of the paddle.
i thought this is normal for a powerful engine,
i tired my friends S63 today and it feels totally different in low RPM's
took it to the dealer and they said it only needs an update and some software tuning. Gave me the car back later and the low RPM hesitation is now better.
i got to the car early in the morning and started the engine up for 3 seconds and then suddenly it goes off!!
this happened 3 times so far in one week.
my friend suggested asking the dealer to change the spark plug and the fuel injector. do you think this is relevant?
this is ruining the experience of my new car!!
any one had similar symptoms?
