The car I want has a MSRP of $155,845 and would end up only costing me $1,762.40 with tax included. Any S63 lease is going to push $2,676.08 even with 10% off due to the high MF, low residual, and higher MSRP. IMHO the S63 is not worth ~1k a month more compared to a B7. My wife is looking forward to getting my S550 too

Research tells me that most people that have leased a 2018 S63 so far are in the 3k a month ball park (if they put no money down). Candidly that is a little more than I want to spend. My current S550 was a great deal with 17.3% off MSRP and a MF 0.00054! Payments are under $1,100 a month with tax... I don't think I will ever get a deal like this again. Also dealer paid my first two payments! The car was amazingly specked with 3D sound, Nappa, etc but they had it listed incorrectly online as a E class. Hence why it sat on the lot for over a year lol.
So I was curious about leasing a B7 or M760i new, and got prices from a dealer. $18k down to get that rate of $1759 mo? That's crazy to me. How down did your dealer quote you to get that price of $1759 mo? $18k down? This is what he sent me...

B7 LEASE OPTIONS MSRP of $155,845
36 months
Rebates: $2,000
10,000 Miles year 36 months
$18,000 DOWN $1759 mo. = that's $81324 to have a newer car for 3 years, and I end up with nothing in the end. Or I keep my 6 year old S63 for another 3 years instead, and pay about $5k a year in maintenance I guess, and pay only $15k for a nice car, a $66324 savings. It seems stupid to lease the new B7 for me now then, I guess, just to have a newer car when I actually love mine.

or there's the M760i - WAY more money.

$9995 down $2396 mo (the cheapest lease rate they had) 36 mo term, 10k mi year.

Vehicle: 2018 BMW 7 SERIES 187M 4dr Sdn M760i xDrive

Miles: 205
PURCHASE OPTION
Vehicle Price: $184,745.00
AutoNation Savings: - $19,848.00
AutoNation Price: $164,897.00
Documentation Fee: + $80.00
Title and Reg: + $525.00
Transfer fee: + $23.00
VRT: + $180.00
Vehicle Selling Price: $165,705.00

Sales Tax (estimate): + $9,942.30
Tire/Battery/MVWEA: + $4.00
Balance Due (estimate): $175,651.30

Best option for me seems to be to wait 3 years for a Selenite Gray 2018 S63 to come to market and I scoop it for about $107k! I love the interior on this car. I went to the Baltimore Auto Show today. It kind of sucked compared to NYC, where I usually go, (ok it totally sucked) but I had a fun time with friends. Since it was smaller they let you sit in most every car and I spend a lot of time in the M760i. The interior looks not near as nice as the new S63 but I would have considered it if the money was right. The above #'s don't really do it for me.

From your point of view leasing of B7 or M760 does not make sense indeed but this discussion is about leasing a NEW S63 vs these two and in comparison the difference is enormous.
In case of M760 you get virtually an S65 with AWD and performance equal to S63 at payment barely above E63S.
That makes it a steal for anyone considering a new car lease.
