S63 2020 MY
I have been trying to buy an S63 Cab for over two months now. I really want Diamond White over Saddle Brown. Long story short, cannot seem to find one and I now resigning myself to ordering a 2020. I understand the order guide is out but my dealer has been vague on the new MY will arrive. They actually keep trying to talk me into a 2018 or 2018 MY with color combos I don't want. Anyone know when the 2020s might be available in the US? Any reasons on why I can't seem to get a straight answer on when it might be available?

I'm looking at replacing my 2015 S63 Coupe later this year, also interested in a 2020. I have the DOG for MY2019, have not seen a MY2020 DOG yet. I don't believe major changes are expected.
Wishlist for the 2020 S Coupe/Cab would be available 630hp tune, AMG Drive Unit steering wheel buttons, rear wheel steering, and rear touch screen console from the AMG GT63S 4-door; but not holding my breath. Assuming the S Coupe/Cab continue on unchanged, finding a pre-owned 2018 or 2019 would save a ton of money. There are not many 2018 out there, though, it was a short production run. MY2015-2017 are bargains preowned, if you don't mind the older COMAND, previous generation drivetrain, and original grille and taillights. Cost an extended warranty on any car 4+ years old really needs to be factored in though.

I am not sure if this is true with what you are dealing with. Many dealers prefer to get rid of there stock units rather than ordering more special order units. My dealer had all black AMG S63's. Eventually they placed the custom order of exactly the car I wanted. It did take some time. Something like six months or so, just to get the car in. However once the car arrived, it was well worth the wait. The vehicle in question was my 2016 S63 4matic. It is diamond white. I do not plan on trading up or getting rid of the vehicle. As my feelings are, it is the last of the AMG big block cars, per say. Since most manufacturers are down sizing there engines. My plan is to just get it tuned and modified at a later date.
