Trunk lining in 2018 S63
I noticed to my surprise that there were no roof lining in the trunk (Sorry if this is not the correct terminology) so I brought it to the dealer.
His first comment was "that's weird" but later came back and told me that this is the way it is and he showed me another (new) S class in the showroom. It didn't have the roof lining either.
I'm still flabbergasted. It is a luxury car and I don't expect any "raw" uncovered areas any where in the car. Also - I still have my old 2005 S55 and that car does have nice lining in the trunk on all surfaces.
My 2018 S63 does not have the pull-out drawer in the trunk.
Does anyone know why Mercedes changed this?
Anyone else puzzled by this?
Thanks in advance

That is the area where the comfort box, which is the built in carrying bag that attaches to the roof of the trunk, normally sits.
