Just Purchased '15 S65

Hey guys! Long time since I have posted here, but I just purchased a 2015 S65 and traded in my Alpina B7. The car is in the process of being shipped to me and I had a quick couple questions about the car. Are the pockets on the driver and passenger seat backs supposed to be loose and always "open" or are they supposed to be tight against the seat back and stretch as necessary with items that are put in those pockets? The reason I'm asking is because the seat back pockets on the car I purchased are both in an "open" "outstretched" position.

In addition, does anyone know if something like this would fit on my vehicle or would it require a change of bumper? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-Be...AAAOSwHv1dv3I-

Thanks so much!

No the pockets are NOT supposed to be in the open position. Previous owner/s stored items in those seat back pockets for extended periods of time and the elastic has stretched. I've heard of people using velcro to help keep them shut.
Those carbon fiber parts will NOT fit a 15'.
Congratulations on your new purchase.

Great! I thought that was the case regarding the pockets, but just wanted to check and make sure. Thanks for the information regarding the bumper as well. I couldn't quite tell since my '15 has a very similar looking bumper to the facelift version and didn't know if the 65s may have been different. Anyway, thanks again! Looking forward to getting my hands on the car this week.

Hi there,
Could pls share your experience with your S65. I looked at a used one which is of the same year and has 35k miles on it.
I would appreciate your advice before I take a plunge.
Thanks

Pockets

Hey man and congratulations on the purchase. Those pockets should be closed. They stretch open when you pull on them. Apparently the small cord that stretches outward when you pull to open has broken. The same thing happened to the ones on my last S550. I tell my kids to don’t touch them lol. I never explored getting them fixed.
