16 S65 or 17S63

Hello!

I have been perusing these forums (so helpful, found out about Fidelity warranties) and am debating between an S65 (2016) and a 2017 S63.. I feel like if I was going to go the S63 route I should really look at an 18, but the cost jumps significanlty with less miles, newer MY and of course the refresh. The 2016 S65 I am looking at is going to run me 89k (34k miles) and then of course a few k more for the Fidelity warranty.

I LOVE the color combo on that 16 S65, something about the white and black. Here is the 17 63

love the white interior, more miles but still eligible (I have to check on quotes) for MB warranty instead of fidelity..

Has anyone owned both 63 & 65? Biggest takeaways? Preference of one over the other? I really like the idea of the V12, different ballgame, but at the same time an AWD would be nice as well. I live in Seattle, so the AWD is not mandatory. Ive owned a couple of Corvettes and recently got rid of my 2017 Z06.

I never track the cars

Can you drive both cars before deciding? If not, as much as I too would love that 12 cyl and the panache factor of having the highest model, the S63 is faster (but who cares about fast when they're both so fast), will probably cost less to fix, having AWD when it's raining out or if you drive up north and hit snow or ice or other bad weather would be MUCH better than RWD in my opinion, I'd get the 17 S63. I think it depends on color, the car, the condition and so many other things that we literally couldn't really help you out unless you provided 2 specific links to cars for comparison sake. Feel free to private message me if that's the case if you like. I'm always here to help.

OH MY G**!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get the White with Black interior S65 COUPE!!!! I didn't realize you were comparing coupes. I personally would NEVER want a light colored interior as it would show every pen stain, dirt stain on the mats and the seats, etc. Black hides all the dirt much better, to me. Plus, an S65 coupe? I'd check it out with video if they walk around it for you but.... it's a MUCH nicer looking combo than that blah S63. That totally is not my cup of tea at all. A S65 Coupe? Weren't they like $225k? To me, this is a no brainer. Get the king daddy!!!!!

I would probably go s65. You cant get the magic body control with awd. Not sure if that matters to you or not.

Would always go for the S63 4Matic. In my opinion it has a better (more responsive) engine, transmission (MCT) and 4Matic.......and better you try to find a MY18 or later (facelifted) version of the S63, that is really a total different beast (especially in S+ or Race mode).
