What is your recommended extended Warranty
I have a 2016 S63 with 12K miles that I purchased about 2 months ago with 10K on it. It was CPO and has a CPO warranty until 2021 August. I want to see what my options are for purchasing a warranty beyond CPO (2021 August). What are are providers you recommend and what should I expect to pay for it?

Ditto, sort of. It was a negotiated part of the deal. We hit a brick wall on price, so I ask them to include 2 additional years of CPO. (Part of my plan from the start, actually.) IMHO, you will NEVER get a better or more reliable extended warranty option than a manufacturer's CPO extension. All other programs are underwritten by other companies and can go out of business in a heartbeat. (Happened to me years ago.)

Can someone please explain “adding” more CPO, please? This was never presented to me as an option.
My 4-year factory warranty expires in 2 weeks for my 2017 AMG SL63. It has a year of Mercedes CPO beyond that which expires 09/30/2021.
I can buy an additional year (or more?) from Mercedes? If yes, can it be done at any time within the year of CPO warranty?

All right, I answered my own questions. I found some information on this topic in the Internet directly from Mercedes. But thanks to contributors for mentioning it — I had no idea this was offered by Mercedes.

So, when I got my car new 2.5 year ago, I was recommended by my dealer to get this Continental Warranty 10 years, 100k miles. I think it was $4890, they gave me a "deal" on it they said. Includes the GPS Navigation and the Air Ride Suspension. Seems to cover most everything, he said it was their top warranty Continental offered at my MB dealer, they do all the work my car and I've used this warranty on my last 2 S63's. My first S63, the 2008, Continental covers $11k in repairs in the first 2 months! It was a rough 2 months. Navigation died, lots of other stuff too but I still loved that car. Only owned it for 2 years before getting a 2012, and then this 2018.

Jeffs current price for a 2 year CPO extension on an S63 is $3800
