S63L W222 - Noise
Recently I have started to experience some weird noises while car is stationary. I don't really know what to make of it if I'm honest.
I would be grateful if someone could shed some light
My Car is a UK (Rear wheel drive) S63L W222 (2016)
I have attached some videos to possibly help, I uploaded them to youtube, see links below:
Any help would be appreciated as I just recently got my car back after they changed Pulsation Damper
Thanks

Thank you for sharing though :-)
I spoke to my dealer yesterday and sadly they are not experienced enough with my engine so they can't find the fault and doing guesswork, I think they will look properly after 4th January due to covid

Let me know if you want more information.
Mercedes diagnosed the rattle, that was the Belt Tensioner mechanism which was ordered mid January and not in stock in Germany until end of February so they gave my car back saying its safe to drive, so its sat at home until the part arrives.
The whistle they are not sure so said wait until the belt tensioner is replaced first.
The rattle on mine was diagnosed as being the belt tensioner, the part has finally arrived now waiting to get my car in to finally get this sorted.

regardless how many miles are on your car I’m pretty sure around 50k or so I had to replace my tension on my 5.5 as well.

Okay so finally got my car back after waiting over a month for just the part.
- Rattle problem has been fixed (Belt Tensioner) BUT...
Any ideas where to look so I can pin point and get he car in at Mercedes again.
I have the M157 engine, will attach pictures later

Sadly they don't get many M157 here at the dealers so limited in there understanding.
And I can't be paying £174 per hour for them to play guessing game lol
Thanks to everyone here I was able to pin point the rattle and tell the dealer.
With the whistle/whining it seems to be a little more complicated sadly.
