Which AMGs fart/brapp when changing gears?
I know it is probably not the most enlightened question to post here, but I am considering buying another AMG car, this time aiming for M157 engine and one thing came up - which models DO get the farting sound when changing gears? It's been one thing that I was always missing moving on from RS4 B8.5 (or even a VW GTI MK7) to pre-2010 AMGs... So I want to get a clarification what to look for when looking for another fun car... Does anyone know if there is a manufacturer's term or an option I should look for? Or is it a feature of specific gearbox+engine combo?
I am interested in this specific sound/behavior:
W222 S63 - this is the sound I want to get
RS6 C7 is another option that I will consider if I can't find a well maintained "farting" 63...
From my past experiece:
W218 CLS63 (pre lift) - no gearshift farts, even though it is already a speedshift gearbox
W204 C63, W211, W221 - none... old school 7g crappy gearbox...
Which 212 E63 - none...

My S65 makes most of those sounds in Sport mode but they are subdued and I have to listen closely to hear them. The E63S makes all the same sounds but in S+ or R they sound much louder than the S63. The best is my SL65. It maker the full menu of sounds and almost as loud as the E63S. The tone is a bit different with a V12. The magic is driving in S+ with the top down, the exhaust noises flood into the car, causing ear to ear grins from the driver and passenger. The SL63 will do the same thing.

My S63 has a deeper constant rumble with light downshift pops when it downshifts. My GL63 has very prominent exhaust sounds during upshift and downshift. Each of my AMGs has it's own exhaust personality (same for the transmission).
