Is there any compelling reason to upgrade my 2018 S63 to a 2020 S63 Sedan?

My dealership keeps emailing me about deals on 2020 S63's. I have no interest in a newer one so I thought I'd keep my 2018 forever (in theory). My buddy just bought a 2020 S63, black on black with the red brakes and is over the moon about it. He said it's got these amazing carbon fiber body parts from MB that came with the car. WHAT? They didn't offer them with my car but in the end, so what, right? It's just cosmetic goodies. He traded in his 2019 S560 to get his car and the dealership bought it sight unseen from him from 1500 miles away and are only charging him $1000 to truck it down to them, and they're sending the car to him, his new S63 with 11k miles... for free by closed car truck carrier. Wow. His new car had an MSRP of $177900 and he's getting it for $139k, $19k less than they were asking 2-3 mos ago for this same car. WOW.
Then another buddy just bought a 2020 black/black S63 coupe with 950 miles. Looks amazing.
I'm not trying to keep up with the Joneses or... am I?
Is there any significant, compelling reason to trade in or sell my 2018 in a custom paint - Designo Graphite Metallic for a new car? The only reason for me would be to get a car with the gold colored carbon ceramic brakes so I don't have to deal with all the brake dust and I think they look cool. There isn't even 1 for sale like this in the US now, with these brakes. I guess I could just buy upgraded dust free brake pads for my current car, right? Adding the gold carbon ceramic brakes to my current car would be $16k+, too much money for me to part with for this car just for this upgrade.
The 2020 seems like pretty much the same exact car as the 2018 I have, unless I'm wrong? I bought it new so it was quite expensive (paid $177,345 for it. $10k off MSRP). I also bought a Continental full cover warranty for 10 yr/100k miles on my existing car. Thoughts?

Plus, I'm saving up for this 2021 Porsche Turbo S so the extra $50k I'll save by just keeping my car can go towards this one below when I decide to make the move. I'd have to trade in my 2012 which I still adore...for it and it would still be $170k out of pocket. Ouch. I may just wait 3 years till they depreciate by $60k or so and get one then. I only want silver with black interior, I'm sure it will be easy to find this simple color combo.
