I have wanted this car for a long time. I am concerned that the model is discontinued because I plan on buying it and keeping it for many years, will maintenance and parts be an issue down the line?
Also, any difference between 2019-2021, because I cannot find many new 2021 models out there anymore.
I was thinking of a CPO with under 10K mileage, is that decent?
Given that the prices for even 2019 models is over 160K, should I wait another year or so?

Any advice would be much appreciated. I have people telling me to get it new/some say get it used/some say get something else with that much money..

Thank you

There’s not much difference between 19 and 21, except the most notable being the steering wheel with drive mode controls. So buy the best one you can afford. Buy it now. The sooner you get to enjoy it.

My buddy just bought a 2020 with 900 miles, black on black with black wheels. He loves it traded in his white S560 Coupe to get it, but he said this was a totally different animal. Yes, just get the newest one that you can afford and don't worry about parts or service or anything. Parts will be there years down the road to help you fix it but these cars are practically maintenance free for MANY YEARS. I have a 2018 sedan and it's needed practically nothing but tires. So reliable.

Avoid the 2021 model (it is literally a limited edition, less drive assist functions, etc, for legal reasons, see other threads about this).

The 2020 model has indeed the possibility to have drive mode button on the steering wheel (but then no heated steering wheel possible), for the rest model 2019 is no difference.
Go for it, it is a great car!

IIRC the mfg has to provide parts availablity for 10 years after the model is discontinued..........and after that there may be aftermarket parts availability...........

get the best one you can afford and enjoy the miles and smiles.

An 18 car is still under warranty, any dealer should be cpo ing the car right from the start, no choice
