Who’s modified there engine covers with the Renntech intakes?

Just installed the Renntech intake and the cover needs a lot of modifying, has anyone done this before?

2016 Mercedes S63 4matic sedan
I almost went with the RENNTech intakes; however, they were unavailable at the time. Plus, they had no ETA on them. Then I almost went with the AMS intakes, however they could not guarantee they would fit an S63. So, I ended up with Blackboost. Fitment is perfect and no issues. Plus, I believe the highest horsepower Benz's are running Blackboost intakes. Then there is the wow factor when you pop the hood. Not many people have seen the Blackboost set up in real life. My local Mercedes dealer where I service my vehicle, had never heard or seen them before. They seemed very interested in knowing more about the product. Lol. When I was going to get the RENNTech intakes. I was going to tape up the area that needed trimming, mark what you needed trimmed and take a Dremel or small cut off wheel and start trimming. A little at a time. AMS used to make replacement carbon covers; however, I think they have been discontinued.
