Hey guys, so I had got into small accident that only needed a small bumper and a new sensor wiring harness (I ordered everything from the local Mercedes-Benz dealership) and my 2014 Mercedes-Benz s63 sedan comes with 6 parking distance sensor holes on the bumper I got those in and I got the 3 radar/blind spot sensors (2 are on the sides and in the middle right underneath the trunk). And now the problem is that I have one remaining wire on the wiring harness that is the same wire as the parking distance wires I will include a picture of how the unknown wire is. So pretty much I have 7 distance parking connectors but only 6 holes on the bumper. The unknown wire is also longer then all the other parking distance wires and the same part number as them too. So someone please help I tried to call the parts department at multiple Mercedes-Benz dealerships and they don’t know either. My only option is to take it to the dealership for a diagnosis which $240!

 

What about the kick sensor, to open the trunk? Also, they can bring up a wiring routing of the rear bumper area. Also, a possibility is that since these cars are made for different markets, that may be just a spare connector or option for another market. Hope this helps.
