2019 S63- Rough Transmission

I have a 2019 S63 (new 9 speed transmission).

Love the car but...Transmission is not working correctly (very rough shifting in C Mode).

When in C mode...every now and then when accelerating from a stop or slow roll… it will rev to like 2000rpm's w/o being in gear then slam into gear to begin moving.

Also, sometimes when accelerating unto a highway or passing...the transmission just pauses and does nothing (like its looking for a gear)...then slams again once it “catches”.

This happens infrequently (every 2-3 weeks) so Dealer cant replicate and it and doesn't throw a code so no one can figure this out.

I have owned many S Classes and this Transmission is not right. It also is not just the “snappy” shifts it makes when in sport mode- which are awesome.

Any advise or heard of these problems with the new 9 Speed??

Thanks.

When was your last transmission service? I was told that every 25,000 miles is the recommended interval.

2019 S63 4Matic+, 2018 E400 Cabrio, wardens car.
My 2019 is getting the 30K service right now and that includes a trans service and adaptation reset. Mine is working OK but can be a bit jerky in the AM when I first drive the car. Hoping the service will smooth it out a bit. I will report back once I get mine back from the dealership.

Thanks you all.

I have passed along your helpful info to dealer and they replied they are looking at software update.

Will report back
