E400 2018 Wagon stop-go

E400 2018 Wagon stop-go
I have had my main battery exchanged last week at MB official center garage. Since then my start-go only works when the AC air condition is OFF
i am told that that is how it is supposed to work and will not work when the AC is on. I think if I remember correctly that it work at both AC ON AND OFF.
is this true ? Or am I being sold a untrue story by MB garage .

would you know what
else might be needed to be exchanged except the new main battery that I have indeed replaced? I know that in the E400 Wagon 2018 that I owe there is No
auxiliary extra battery;
i wonder why MB gives me the run around stories .

You are right that auxiliary battery needs to be replaced. Usually there is indeed an auxiliary battery but I heard it is market dependent for some reason, the wagon might have it under the passenger seat, while the sedan might be under the glovebox. If you confirmed your vehicle doesn't have it then there is nothing left to be changed, another thing is you could find someone to reset the battery adaptation so the vehicle knows it is a new battery but that is not always necessary.

Thanks for confirming that your vehicle doesn't have an auxiliary battery. The auxiliary battery in some vehicles is actually a capacitor, for example in the C-Class of last generation, that might explain the confusion.
