Enable car cell and wifi?
Could someone please summarize what enabling the built in car phone and wifi data services would do for me given that I already have a cell phone? Just trying to understand what car features I will gain if the car itself has internet access.

sorry - 2014. Seems like it might not be worth it from what I have been able to find out. It's a 3G system from Verizon, correct?

Correct, 3G network and it was all shut down late 2022. No options to update, no MB cellular tech available.
